Calendar view

Navigating day, week, and month views — activity blocks, person columns, and creating events.

The calendar has four time-range views (1-day, 3-day, 5-day, 7-day) and a month view. Switch between them with the view selector in the top bar, or use keyboard shortcuts (see ? for the full list).

Person columns

In day and week views, each person you've selected appears as a column. Hours run down; 30-minute slots are the default density. You can toggle 2× vertical zoom with the zoom button in the top bar if you want more granular rows.

The column header shows the person's name, their color dot, and any configured holiday marker for that day. If you haven't selected any people, the grid shows a prompt to open the Persons selector.

Activity blocks

Each event on the grid is an activity block. It shows:

  • The start time and (if space allows) end time
  • The event title
  • A small source mark and color that identifies which source it came from (ERP, Outlook, Google, etc.)
  • An attendee count badge if the event has external attendees
  • An RSVP icon if you've been invited and haven't responded

Click any block to open the detail drawer. From there you can edit the event, add comments, attach files, and toggle your watch status. See Calendar sources for how source colors are assigned.

Blocks have several visual states: hover (slight lift), selected (ring), optimistic-save (translucent while being written to the server), and error (red hairline if the save failed and needs attention).

Creating an event

Click any empty time slot to open the activity editor, pre-filled with that date and time. You can also press N at any time. Fields in the editor:

  • Date, start time, end time
  • Primary person (defaults to you)
  • Activity type — searchable list from your ERP
  • Project, customer, item — each searchable against your ERP records
  • Description / notes
  • CC persons (multi-select)
  • Location, attendees, video provider (Teams / Meet / Zoom) — for Outlook and Google events

Ctrl/Cmd+S saves. Ctrl/Cmd+Y duplicates the current event. Esc closes without saving.

ERP events are saved directly to Standard Books. Outlook and Google events are written through the Microsoft Graph / Google Calendar APIs.

Month view

Month view shows a 6×7 grid. Each day cell shows up to four activity chips and an overflow count. Click a day to open the day-detail panel on the right (desktop) or a bottom sheet (mobile).

Days with public holidays for your configured country show a subtle overlay. Click the week header to switch straight to the 7-day view for that week.

Current time indicator

A horizontal line across the columns marks the current time. The time label sits at the left edge of the grid.

Drag and resize

Drag an activity block to reschedule it. Drag the bottom edge to resize the duration. Moves and resizes write back to the source system immediately (optimistic — they render before the server confirms).
