Calendar sources
The six source types herbe.calendar can show, what each one provides, and how to control visibility.
herbe.calendar aggregates events from up to six source types simultaneously. Each source has a distinct color so you can tell at a glance where any event came from.
Source types
ERP (Standard Books) — activities from one or more Standard Books connections configured by your admin. This includes every activity type your ERP has: sales meetings, tasks, reminders, internal events, etc. ERP events can be created and edited directly from the calendar.
Outlook / Microsoft 365 — your calendar from the Microsoft 365 tenant your admin has connected. Outlook events are read-write. If your organization uses Exchange on-premises, the connection goes through the same Microsoft Graph API.
Google Workspace — calendars from a Google Workspace domain, connected by your admin with a service account. Read-write.
Google (personal) — your own Google account, connected via OAuth under Settings → Integrations → Google. This includes personal Gmail calendars and any calendar shared to you in Google. Read-write.
ICS — any public .ics feed URL you add yourself under Settings → Integrations → ICS. Common uses: public holiday calendars, shared team calendars from other systems. Read-only.
Shared calendars — colleagues who have shared their herbe.calendar view with you via a share link. These appear as a separate section in the Sources dropdown and are read-only.
Controlling visibility
Open the Sources dropdown in the top bar. Each source has a visibility toggle. Hiding a source removes its events from the grid; the source stays configured and reappears when you turn it back on.
If you've hidden sources, the Sources button shows a count ("2 hidden") so you don't wonder why events seem to be missing.
Show all / Hide all shortcuts appear at the top of the dropdown.
Colors
Source colors are assigned when your admin configures each connection. Your admin can override colors per connection at Admin → Config. For your personal Google and ICS sources, you can set the color under Settings → Integrations.
ERP activity types can have their own color overrides (set at Settings → Colors) on top of the base ERP source color.
Zoom and Calendly
Zoom meetings that appear in your Outlook or Google calendar show up automatically through those sources — no separate Zoom connection needed in most cases. If your admin has connected a Zoom account directly (Admin → Config → Zoom), Zoom meetings created in herbe.calendar will have a Meet link generated automatically.
Calendly events appear in herbe.calendar when your admin has configured a Calendly connection under their account settings. Bookings from your Calendly links create ERP activities automatically.
